The Story
At Mankriti, our journey began with a simple yet profound struggle: finding genuine cotton clothing. Like many, we were frustrated by the overwhelming presence of commercial brands offering clothes made from cheap polyester and rayon blends.
We longed for the comfort and authenticity of pure cotton, but it seemed increasingly hard to find. Determined to change this, we set out to explore the rich tapestry of India’s textile heritage.
Along our journey, we encountered incredible local artisans, each dedicated to preserving their craft and creating beautiful, pure cotton fabrics.
Their passion and skill inspired us, and we realized that we could be the bridge connecting these artisans to a wider audience who values quality and tradition. With that vision in mind, we founded Mankriti, committed to the beauty of authentic cotton clothing while supporting the talented artisans behind it.
